Asheville, NC
This will be a quick Asheville except, as this is definitely a place we will return and do an extended review.
The Asheville vibes are trendy and hipster, a very Keep-Asheville-Weird-type area.

We only had a couple hours to kill before our flight, so we just walked around downtown. We parked in a garage, which was probably a mistake, as a couple hours cost $25 (on a Sunday, high for even MPLS standards).
Funny enough, Mast General Store had a space here as well.
We did see some cool shops, art galleries, museums, and restaurants, including the sign for this absolute gem, which is unfortunately only open late night weekends:

The Banksy artwork alone was enough to pique my interest, but the name is equally amazing.

We stopped at Red Ginger Dim Sum for a quick bite before our flight. A quick glance at Yelp suggested this was a good spot, and I can easily see why.

Not starving, we sat out on the patio and selected the potstickers and Shanghai-style pork dumplings.
Potstickers: 4/5
Shanghai Pork Dumplings: 4/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 – Nacho-Ordinary

We then continued our journey to Wicked Weed Brewing.
I’ve been here once before, but it’s been 6-7 years. It was pretty much as I remembered: A cool space with great beverages.
We went downstairs to the brewery, which boasts a beautiful copper bar and sixteen unique taps.
I indulged in one of my absolute favorite beers, Freak of Nature, a high-gravity citrusy IPA, and Nick had the blood orange kombucha.
Both were excellent.
Fellow Minnesotans joined us, wondered if the Vikes game was going to be shown on the TV, and wished us well on our journey when we left.
Overall Rating: 5/5 Legen-dairy
